Amid everything that has been going on, Charizma has been preparing their store’s launch in full swing. Their hard work paid off on the 1st of March 2017 when the store was inaugurated in a mall located on the infamous Hussain Chawk Lahore. With a guest list that ranged from journalists, actors, models and family, the launch was nothing short of a success. The flagship store is the newest endeavor by the youngest of Charizma owner, Abdullah Riaz.
The event started at 7pm and welcomed everyone into an elegantly and gorgeously decorated floor with a large table decorated with candles and fresh flowers. The arch and chandeliers were beautifully designed with colorful seasonal flowers that just lit up the entire store.
The launch was attended by various artists. Zara Noor Abbas was spotted enjoying a glass of fresh pina colada that was being served to the guests throughout the night. Aden Rehan and husband Rehan Baber later joined in and took a stroll through the jam packed store. We even spotted Ahmed Ali Butt and Fatima Khan. Ahmed took out the time to talk to the press and give his valuable feedback while Fatima skimmed and shopped. Sara Gandapur glowed in a customized Charizma dress as she interviewed guests and documented their experience at the newly established store.
The collection found in the store was absolutely beautiful and was evidently designed with a lot of passion and care. Some of the dresses were wiped off the racks within the first 30 minutes of the launch. Not only were they one of a kind and exceptionally stitched, they were also surprisingly reasonable. The store stands on three levels. The top one had a plethora of casual wear for working women in Lahore. From bright hues to the classic black and white, there were various casual Kurtas that women were seen swooning over as they searched for their sizes. This process was made even more fun with constant hors d’ oeuvres being served to all the guests. The main table also displayed a set of customized cupcakes to celebrate the success of the launch.
The basement was further divided into two parts. One side of the basement displayed a range of exquisitely designed single and two piece formal wear whereas the other end had a reasonably organized range of unstitched clothes. The best part about the entire collection was that it was not just completely beautiful, it was also super affordable. However, we understand that there were a ton of people there; the biggest turn off of the evening was that there were just 2 try rooms and the line outside each was never ending. We even saw two to three clients walk out of the store merely because of the wait.
The above matter of concern was entirely trivial especially when the owners of the store, Rashid and Abdullah were seen escorting their guests and clients to the cash register all the while ensuring their experience was as wonderful as they intended it to be. They actively partook in the purchase and greeted everyone in the gentlest and sweetest manner possible. At one point we even spotted Rashid standing at the counter with a credit card to assist his guests.
In short, the inauguration was not only a complete success; it was also super fun to visit with the hosts outdoing themselves. The collection was remarkable and we wish Abdullah the very best of luck on this new and very well-executed first step into this grand endeavor.
